The short version. You give us photos of you and your pet. We send them to an AI company in the United States, which uses them to make your portrait and then deletes them within an hour. We keep your photos and your portraits so you can come back for them.
We never sell your data. We store your email to deliver and recover your portraits. We do not train models on your photos. We use product analytics to understand how people use the studio.

What we collect
Photographs
The pictures you upload of yourself, anyone else in the home, and your animals. These are the whole product, so we cannot make your portraits without them.
Only upload photos you are allowed to upload. If another person is in a picture, you are telling us you have their agreement. Please do not upload photographs of children.
Your email address
We ask for your email before previewing so we can send your private link when the preview is ready. We use it for digital download access, receipts, and order recovery (via Find my portraits). Providing an email never means we will auto-subscribe you to unrelated marketing lists.
We may send helpful order updates, such as notifications about an unfinished portrait session. You can opt out of non-critical emails at any time with a single click.
Payment details
Handled entirely by Paddle (our Merchant of Record). Your card number never reaches our servers. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, the amount, and a transaction token for customer support.
Session and browser state
We use temporary browser session storage so you don't lose your selected looks or upload progress if you refresh the page, and to deliver the right portraits to your device.
Who else sees your data
We are a small operation that uses trusted third parties for the parts we don't build ourselves:

Whenever we work with vendors outside your country, we rely on the standard contractual clauses and security assurances those companies publish.
What nobody does with your photos
- We do not sell them, and we do not share them for advertising.
- We do not use them to train any AI model.
- We do not publish them. Nothing you upload appears publicly on this site.
- Every portrait shown on our homepage was created from licensed reference photography, not customer uploads.
How long we keep things

We are honest about this: we do not pretend photographs automatically vanish into thin air. If you would like your photos or finished portraits deleted at any time, email hello@unposed.studio and we will remove them.
What you can ask for
Write to us and we will do any of these, within 30 days:
- A copy of everything we hold about you.
- Deletion of your photographs and portraits.
- Correction of anything that is wrong.
- Deletion of your whole order record, once tax retention limits allow.
We will need to be reasonably sure it is you asking, which usually means writing from the email address you ordered with.
Cookies and storage
We do not use invasive third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels. We use standard browser local and session storage to remember your selected styles, generation identifier, and preferences so you do not lose progress as you move through the studio.
Children
This service cannot serve children, and we do not knowingly take anything from anyone under 18. Please do not upload photographs of children. If you believe a child's photograph has been uploaded, tell us at hello@unposed.studio and we will delete it immediately.
Changes
Few changes happen, and if one does we will change this page and put a new date at the top. If the change matters, we will notify customers directly rather than hope they notice.
